2013 Day of Percussion

Jeff Prosperie
Jeff ProsperiePercussionist for the US Military Academy Band at West Point, NY
Percussion section leader of the Legendary Hellcats

Jeff Prosperie is a member of The Legendary Hellcats at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, a World Snare Drum Champion and “triple crown” winner for solo competition (DCI, PAS, DCA), and a winner of the Drum Corps Midwest Snare Drum Competition. Jeff is a Championship-level adjudicator for DCI and WGI, and served for two years as the percussion arranger/instructor for the nationally televised Army All-American High School Marching Band. He is endorsed by Pearl/Adams, Sabian, Innovative Percussion, and Evans.

Glenn Robertson
Glenn Robertson on DrumsDrummer for the “Volunteers,” US Army Field Band, Washington, DC

Glenn Robertson is the drummer for the Army’s premier touring rock band, The Volunteers. He has opened for and shared concert bills with John Mayer, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, George Clinton, Toby Keith, Martin Sexton, Charlie Daniels, Dave Barnes, Brett Dennen, and Hall and Oates, and performed at the Montreal and Norwalk Jazz Festivals, the Hammerstein Ballroom, and in Iraq and Kuwait. Glenn holds a Bachelors of Music from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where he studied with Thom Hannum, Bob Gullotti, Jeff Holmes, and Eduardo Leandro. Glenn is a Vic Firth Artist/Educator.

Colin McNutt
Colin McNuttPercussion Arranger and Caption Head for the Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps, Allentown, PA.

Colin McNutt is the Percussion Caption Supervisor and Arranger for the ten-time DCI World Champion Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps. He arranged music and instructed for the Star of Indiana, the Glassmen and the Crossmen. He also took his talents to the stage, writing and teaching for the popular production Blast!. Colin has served on the faculty of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where he is an alumnus and received degrees in Classics and Music Education. Colin McNutt is endorsed by Yamaha, Vic Firth, Zildjian and Remo.

Grant Braddock
Grant BraddockDrummer-Percussionist for the Lion King, New York City

Grant Braddock is a freelance drummer, percussionist, and educator based in New York City. Broadway credits include performances with The Lion King, Green Day’s American Idiot, and Spring Awakening. Off-Broadway credits include Shakespeare in the Park’s Winter’s Tale and performances with Rent and Giant. Grant has toured as a performer with Green Day’s American Idiot, The Great Moscow Circus, and Blast!. Grant has also performed with La La Brooks of The Crystals, Deep Purple, and Aretha Franklin.

Richard Cravens

Show Director at Universal Orlando Resort, Orlando, FL

Richard Cravens is a former “Blue Man” with the Blue Man Group and Taiko Drumming Specialist. The Show Director at Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida, Richard also co-stars in television shows including “The Glades,” “Burn Notice,” “Banshee,” and NBC’s new show “Revolution.” He is a performance consultant for The Cadets and Infinity Percussion. Richard earned his BA from the University of Central Florida, where he played tenor and snare in the UCF marching band.
