Hoedown to Showdown: Portrait of the American West

Spirit of America set off for the “Wild West” in Hoedown to Showdown: Portrait of the American West. There are many events that have helped shape and form our country into what it is today. Few however, had as much mystique, danger, and excitement as the expansion of the West. Our show opened as the cowboys rode into town with their covered wagons and shiny pistols. Conquering new territory, celebrating at a country dance, a gun fight, a truce, and a barn-raising completed the picture of Spirit of America’s Hoedown to Showdown: Portrait of the American West.
