A Search for…the Brightness After Rain

Y2K took Spirit of America to its first World Association of Marching Show Bands World Championships in Calgary, Canada with A Search for…the Brightness After Rain. Told as a story to a young boy, the band presented a tale of knights and chivalry, good and evil, courtly love, and the triumph of right over wrong. Spirit of America won First Runner-up overall, and First in the United States.
