Bari Sax Player Wanted!
Spirit of America is looking for a baritone sax player to fill an opening in this year’s show! Please contact us if you are interested, and join us for February camp.
If you want to audition:
- Prepare a solo piece that shows your level and abilities.
- Be prepared to show your marching technique.
- If you come to a camp audition on Cape Cod, you’ll join in with the rest of the band for the camp, and be pulled aside for your individual music and drill evaluation.
How do the auditions work?
Depending on how your audition goes:
- You’re in!
- Continue to come to camps, and you will potentially earn a spot in the future, based on your skills and contribution.
- You’ll receive a list of things to work on for 2011.
- You may be offered a position on the support staff.
To schedule your audition, fill out an application, and we will send you a packet with everything you need. Applicants must be 18 years or older.
